The Kensington Dog Parade

A Tail-Wagging Celebration for The Dogs Trust

Friday, 31st October 2025, 4pm
Holland Park, London, W8 6LU

Join us for Kensington's most delightful community gathering, where four-legged friends and their humans parade together for a paw-sitively wonderful cause.

Every wag counts. Every step matters. Every bark helps.

A Tradition Worth Barking About

Picture this: dozens of waggy tails, proud pups in their finest attire, and a sea of humans united by their love for their four-legged best friends. That's the magic we're bringing to Kensington this October.

As your neighborhood's purveyor of whimsical treasures, we at Fable and Mirth believe that every story deserves to be celebrated - especially the ones written in paw prints . This parade isn't just an event; it's our love letter to the dogs who make our daily walks through Kensington Gardens extraordinary.

We're proud to partner with The Dogs Trust, the UK's largest dog welfare charity. Each year, they give over 15,000 dogs a second chance at happiness. With your participation, we're writing the next chapter in their remarkable story.

Every £35.80 raised

provides one full day of care for a rescue dog, including food, shelter, and medical attention. Together, we can transform tails of abandonment into tales of joy.

Can I bring multiple dogs?

You're welcome to bring multiple dogs, but each dog will need to be registered seperately and you must be able to keep all dogs in your care under control

What if it rains?

A little British drizzle won't stop us! The parade continues in light rain. However, in cases of severe weather we'll postpone and notify all registered participants by 8 AM on the day.

Is the route suitable for older dogs or dogs with mobility issues?

Absolutely! The main parade route is approximately 1.5km on flat, paved paths. You're welcome to complete a shorter route or skip the parade and just enjoy the afternoon activities.

Can I just come to watch?

Of course! Spectators are welcome and encouraged.

What about parking?

Limited parking is available at Hyde Park. We strongly encourage using public transport - High Street Kensington, Knightsbridge, and Hyde Park Corner stations are all within walking distance.

Ready to Make Tails Wag?

We request a donation of £15 for each dog you enter into the parade. The money will all go directly to The Dogs Trust and the entry fee include a goody bag.
